$2,500 Grant Received

The Walter and Leona Dufresne Fund recently awarded Hands of Hope NW a grant of $2,500 through the Idaho Community Foundation. This grant will help us continue to supply local homeless shelters and community health clinics with equipment and supplies. Each year we give shelters mattresses, blankets, towels, and soap. Last year we sent our third shipment to Transitions Foundation of Guatemala. This group works with Guatemalans who are living with disabilities. Included in the shipment were 52 wheelchairs, 70 walkers, and 90 pairs of crutches.
