2014 Year in Review
2014 was a year of change here at Hands of Hope NW, but a great year nonetheless.
Although we didn’t ship as many 40-foot containers as we would have liked, we sent out nine partial shipments in partnerships with other organizations, with eight times the value of last year’s partial shipments.
Normally, recipients pay their own shipping costs, but in 2014, due to two disasters, we raised the money to send one shipment to the Philippines and another to Sierra Leone. The road to recovery after the typhoon in the Philippines and the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone is long. We hope to continue the friendships and partnerships with our ministry partners in these countries. We plan to send shipments to Moldova, Rwanda, Kenya, and several other countries.
We also contacted and helped many more local organizations than ever before. Churches, shelters, and schools were all blessed. We look forward to another year of ministry with you!
