Medical Supplies Sent Around the World

Important Notes

If you would like a donation receipt, please prepare an itemized list of all supplies and equipment being donated. Hands of Hope Northwest is not able to estimate the monetary value of any donations, but we are happy to provide you with a self-completed donation receipt for tax purposes.

If you are representing a local hospital, clinic, business, or other professional organization looking to make a donation of pallets or a number of large items, please call our office at (208) 461-1473 to coordinate a pickup from our box truck. Please note that for safety and legal reasons, we unfortunately cannot pick up donations from private residences, but community members are welcome to drop off donations at our warehouse.

What happens to donated items?

Donated items are collected throughout the week, then sorted by our volunteers during volunteering hours. Our volunteers clean and repair medical equipment before it enters our Local Loan Program or goes into storage for the next international shipment. Smaller medical supplies are further sorted by category and expiration date, then counted and boxed for international medical aid shipments. To learn more about our charitable initiatives or to become a volunteer, explore the links below.
