249 Wheelchairs on Their Way to Guatemala

249 wheelchairs. 304 pairs of crutches. One container, headed for Guatemala!

On September 23, our volunteers filled a shipping container with wheelchairs, crutches and walkers for our longtime partners at Transitions Foundation in Guatemala. There, each chair is fitted to the person who receives it. That means a way to get to school, to work, to church, or simply outside with family.

A special thank you to Church of the Living God (CLG) for helping us load every single piece of equipment. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Want your church, business or group to be part of the next load? Group volunteer applications are at handsofhopenw.org/volunteer.
