Parking Lot Expansion
Work on the parking lot has finally begun! We are excited to see the next step in our expansion plans making progress. New concrete will be installed first, then the asphalt will be laid down with a target finish date before November 1st.
If you’ve ever stopped by our ministry center, you will have noticed how difficult it is to find a parking space, especially on shipping days. This new lot will allow more people to drop off donated equipment, give easier access to local loan recipients, with additional handicapped parking, and help us expand our volunteer base. And we can begin to transform the Hope Annex into offices. The photos show sand that has been laid in preparation for new sidewalks to be poured.
Growth Opportunity – Additional Funds Needed
So far, donors have raised $43,721 for the parking lot. With the construction boom and record setting growth in the Treasure Valley, the cost of supplies has risen. So, we are looking to raise another $30,000 to pay for the remainder and not dip into our reserves. In the coming weeks, keep an eye out for more information on Facebook and via email about how you can participate in this exciting opportunity to grow the ministry. We continue to receive medical equipment and supplies, we have the distribution channels, and our vision is “a transformed world in which everyone with health or mobility issues has access to appropriate medical equipment and supplies.” If your values align with our vision, please pray about how you can help us grow.
