Report on Mission Trip to Mexico
Pastor Joe and Jan Quezada, from Deer Flat Church in Caldwell, traveled to Mexico and took supplies from Hands of Hope NW. Here is Lila Quezada, Joe’s sister-in-law, opening one of the four suitcases they took to her for the birthing clinic in Oaxaca. Jan said, “She was thrilled to get the stethoscopes and the blood pressure cuffs, the scissors and medications. Thank your group for supplying us with these ‘goodies’ to help out this clinic. The items are blessing many women and babies with low cost prenatal care and births.”
Local Organizations Receive Supplies
This month we donated 108 boxes of Crisis Care Kits that were prepared by Nazarene churches to the Homeless Veterans Program in Boise. The weather turned cold very quickly in November, causing many more people to seek refuge. With 6 kits to a box, this donation will last them nearly a year.
Hope House received bookshelves, file cabinets, beds, desks, tables, and chairs for use in the home for children here in Idaho. Many of the children come from difficult family situations or failed adoptions. Others have mental or physical challenges.
