Orphan Receives Wheelchair

A boy living in an orphanage in Myanmar came to the attention of Dr. Larry Banta and son, Nate Banta, of Child Help International. Because of the boy’s physical impairments, he needed a wheelchair to get around. Dr. Banta asked if we could send him a wheelchair, but it would have cost $1,000 to ship!

When Debbie heard that the Work and Witness Team from Bethel Church of the Nazarene was headed to Myanmar, she contacted Jim Franklin and asked if they could take it with them. They agreed and the boy now has new hope and a new lease on life!
