Fundraising Success Stories

2017 Yard Sale raised $3,036! Shoppers stopped by one Friday and Saturday in June at the Nampa First Nazarene parking lot to pick up bargains and treasures and raise funds to help us keep doing what we do – restoring hope, health, and mobility to those in need.

2017 Idaho Gives Day raised $6,624! Donors dropped by with their gifts at our BBQ and helped raise funds for a partial shipment to Moldova, including supplies for orphans and equipment for hospitals.

2016 Thomas Foundation $25K Match Grant. Supporters raised $19,553 towards our $25K match grant goal – that’s 78% and double the impact to help with more shipments to countries hard-hit by disaster or poverty.

2016 Giving Tuesday gifts totaled $2,031! Our goal was to raise money to support medical missions to five countries, giving medical students, doctors, and nurses an opportunity to reach people lacking basic medical care. Thank you to all who gave to make these missions possible!

2016 August 5th Benefit Concert with Gordon Mote totaled over $13,000! Thanks to everyone who came and contributed to our benefit fundraising concert. The concert was fabulous with talented Gordon Mote, blind pianist from birth and renowned Nashville musician.

2016 June 5th Annual Yard Sale totaled $5,043.16! These funds helped us send more shipments to developing countries where health needs are so great, and allowed us to continue serving our community residents, and supply local non-profits with medical equipment and supplies. Skyview Key Club volunteers dressed in HoHNW t-shirts donated by 4imprint and worth $500! Nampa First Church of the Nazarene kindly loaned us their parking lot.

2016 May Del Taco fundraiser totaled $75! On Sunday, May 22nd, supporters ate out at Del Taco to benefit HoHNW. We received 20% of purchases where our flyer was shown, amounting to $75, from $375 worth of food consumed! Thanks to Wendy Johnson of Skyview Key Club who helped promoted it as a Group Fundraiser.

2016 Idaho Gives Day fundraiser totaled $9,000! We met our $9,000 goal in our Idaho Gives Day campaign for an Aqua Phase washing machine to sterilize the Community Loan medical equipment. Thanks to generous supporters and the $1,000 matching grant donor who made this possible. Everyone enjoyed a BBQ prepared by volunteers and staff on the day.

2015 Giving Tuesday gifts totaled $1,268! Our goal was to raise $1,000 for parts to refurbish wheelchairs for the disabled and post-surgery recipients, and supporters helped us exceed that goal! We gave wheelchairs to Max in Moldova and Vitaliy in Ukraine who couldn’t move around their houses or go outside without assistance, and two wheelchairs to refugees in Boise. Many more will benefit from refurbished wheelchairs with the money for parts.

2015 Living Christmas Tree offering of $1,177! At one Saturday night performance in December 2015, Nampa College Church of the Nazarene took up an offering for Hands of Hope NW. Thank you, church, and thanks to all who gave!

2015 Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program raised $291! Thank you to those who shopped to help others.
