January 2016 Spotlight—Volunteer Groups

Over a dozen groups served in our Distribution Center in 2015, and many more have served with us in the last 20 years, making a difference to people’s lives box by box, crate by crate.

Thank you to the Marketing staff from Scentsy who came and volunteered on December 18. Scentsy is a Meridian, Idaho based, candle warmer company. Ten people worked hard to pack more than 100 boxes of hospital linens. These linens will be donated to local shelters and shipped to countries around the world. We look forward to their HR staff helping soon.

Will your group help us with fundraising?

We are looking for groups who are willing to help with fundraising for this ministry. Some ideas are arranging for corporate donations through your civic group or employer, organizing bake sales or washing cars. Perhaps you know a restaurant or store owner who would be willing to donate a percentage of the profits for one day. We would love to work with you on a project and hear your ideas!
