Hands of Hope is partnering with Expansion International to ship medical equipment and supplies to Mercy Medical Clinic being built in Magumu, Kenya. The clinic is due to open in July, and will serve 33,000 people.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Steven Roser, is a Boise orthopedic surgeon, medical mission team participant, and friend of Expansion International. Guests can expect a silent auction, delicious meal, keynote speaker, and report from Hands of Hope NW. Claudia Weathermon Tester will be our MC.
The silent auction includes gifts from: Cafe de Coco, V3 Hair Studio, J. Oates Portrait Design, Zoo Boise, Roaring Springs, Tealightful Stamping, Pampered Chef, Goodwood BBQ, Epic Shine Car Wash, and more. Other items include a hand-made quilt, collectible porcelain doll, German cuckoo clock, hand-crafted jewelry, and a Limited Edition model racing car (Elvis edition).
Join us for a hearty breakfast buffet at the Boise Centre (East Wing, 4th floor).
Arrive early between 10:00-11:00 am to browse the silent auction in the 4th floor banquet room lobby and enjoy expansive city and foothill views.
Learn about Expansion International’s ongoing mission work in rural Kenya with communities like Magumu that lack access to good health care. Magumu includes a large population of resettled refugees from Rift Valley tribal clashes. Help us equip the clinic to fill a health care gap.
