Two Shipments in March!
Our distribution center volunteers got a real workout last month, preparing and loading first a shipment to Ukraine and then one to Rwanda six days later.
The Ukraine shipment is on its way to a group called “Mother’s Love”. They work with the disabled and elderly, so we loaded seventy walkers, lots of wheelchairs, canes, and crutches, besides their requested medical supplies.
The second shipment was arranged and paid for by Liberty Bible Church of the Nazarene in Vancouver, Washington. They are building a hospital in Rwanda which will serve thousands of orphans, widows, and others who have had inadequate health-care. The two x-ray machines that we sent will allow them to give a whole new level of care. They are also receiving five birthing beds for their new maternity care ward.
