Medical Missions Update
As well as the large and small shipments we often report on, each month individuals and groups pack our medical supplies in their luggage for short-term mission trips.
Doctors like Dr. Chuck Washington, (St. Luke’s ER), go on regular missions. He will be making another trip to Thailand in the New Year to train Karen medics for the jungles of Burma and will be taking our medical supplies for the training.
For the first half of this year, teams have served Belize, Bolivia (for the first time), Cameroon, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Jamaica, Kenya, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Philippines, and Tanzania—and some of those countries multiple times! You really are making a global impact!
