Board Retreat—Learning and Growing Together
On August 19 and 20, 2016, we held a Board Retreat in New Meadows, Idaho. It was a wonderful time for board members to learn, interact, and grow. Our coach was John Pearson, a nationally known coach and the head of John Pearson Associates. His costs were picked up by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust as part of their Board Leadership and Development Program.
The Murdock Trust also invited the Executive Director and three board members to Vancouver, WA, for four days of training earlier this year. We are so grateful to the Trust for their interest in helping this ministry become the best it can be both now and in the future!
We also wish to thank Dennis and Kathy Johnson and Fred and Karla Slonaker for hosting us in their beautiful cabins.
